For the shopper seeking a gift for an active dad, in downtown Deerfield can put together a complete outfit from head to toe for a runner or triathlete.
Selling shoes, attire and accessories for runners and triathletes among other things, the Deerfield retailer showed Patch how to package a gift for Fatherr’s Day. For the runner, there is a shirt, shorts, shoes and water bottle holder.
“It’s not just for the runner,” Manager Jeff Kamai said. “You can wear this for any kind of workout. The long cut short is what people like for running or any kind of working out.” He also encourages wearing it around town for the look alone.
A person who wants to put together a Father’s Day package of shoes, water bottle holder, shorts and shirt can do so for $184.95. The wicking shirt is particularly good in warm weather. “It keeps moisture away from your body and keeps you cooler,” Kamai said.
Outfitting the father who likes to compete in triathlons takes a unique type of clothing, according to Kamai. The clock does not stop running as a person switches from swimming to cycling to running making compression tri clothing a benefit.
“You can swim, run and cycle in it,” Kamai said. “It has pockets for nutrients during the race.”
Running Away can put dad in a shoes along with a compression tri singlet and shorts for $275.
