Textura Shows Strong NYSE Debut

Deerfield-based software developer makes market debut.

Textura, a Deerfield-based company that develops software for the construction industry, had a successful debut on the New York Stock Exchange Friday when it began offering 5 million shares of common stock at $15 per share, gaining upwards of 68 percent, reported the Chicago Tribune.

Textura was founded in 2004 by three PricewaterhouseCoopers Partners, according to the company website. The Tribune reports the company's software is 
used by more than 3,000 general contractors, property developers and architects.

Textura is listed on the NYSE as "TXTR."
