About three years ago Riverwoods residents purchased 83 acres in Wisconsin and turned the land into a .

Besides to their local communities like Deerfield, the Bakers also wanted to run the farm based on Jewish values.

"For example, we use field rotation to take fields out of production periodically so soil can replenish its nutrients in a very natural way," David Baker explained.
