Village Recognizes Longstanding Businesses

Twenty-nine businesses, large and small honored for being in Deerfield over 20 years.

Deerfield honored 29 businesses Jan. 21 for more than 20 years in the Village.

Deerfield recognized the contributions of 29 businesses located outside the central business district which have operated in the Village more than 20 years Jan. 21 at a meeting of the Village Board of Trustees.

The businesses are Atta Orthodontics,  Bed, Bath & Beyond,  Boston Blackie’s Restaurant,  BP Gas Station,  Brunswick Zone, Burns Family Dentistry,  Calico Corners, California Tan and Massage, Carson’s,  Charles Ifergan Salon & Day Spa,  Cooker’s Red Hots and Courtyard by Marriott.

Others are Jewel-Osco, Subway, Deerfield Animal Hospital, Deerfield Tire Company, Dr. Howard Baim, Doyle Optical, Tony’s Subs, Lapp Chiropractic, McDonald’s, My Own Meals, Office Max, Rainbow Cleaners, Ristorante Abruzzo, Robert Marc Cosmetics, Shell Gas Station, Whitehall of Deerfield and  Zengeler Cleaners.

Right and Walter's tailoring, Kevin's (previously Cherry Pit) and numerous other old time small businesses. I know this must be a rolling recognition. But, let's make sure and recognize and support Kevin's, Deerfield Bakery and Italian Kitchen before we set up the parade for historic Bed, Bath & Beyond and California Tan. But, it is amazing all the stuff you can find at BB&B.
