Roy Lipner Hired as President and CEO of ATP, Inc.

Roy Lipner, a 28-year resident of Deerfield, has just been hired as the President and Chief Executive Officer of ATP Professional Auto Parts (www.atp-inc.com), a leader in automotive aftermarket products for professional and do-it-yourself installers.  ATP is headquartered in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.

Roy has a proven track record as a CEO.  Prior to joining ATP, he served as president and chief executive officer for two leading education companies.  Throughout his career he has held positions in sales, product development, marketing and financial management. 

One of his main goals at ATP is to build upon the company’s rich 60-year history in replacement parts to expand its coverage and applications.

His expertise includes transforming companies at critical periods in the marketplace.  Roy is a firm believer in supporting and developing dynamic teams that think both innovatively and competitively – and deliver on commitments.

He earned his Masters in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University and his Bachelor of Art degree in International Relations and Management from Florida International University. 

Roy serves as a board member of the Great Books Foundation (www.greatbooks.org). He also is a member of the Economic Club of Chicago (www.econclubchi.org) as well as a patron of College Bound Opportunities (www.cbo4success.org).  

A competitive sports car racer, he competes on closed road circuits across the United States. He also has been involved in both teen and adult driver education.
