Rosebud Restaurants Sued for Racial Discrimination

The EEOC claims the restaurant chain, with a location in Deerfield, used race as a basis to not hire people.

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed a lawsuit Tuesday that says Rosebud Restaurants did not hire black workers because of their race, according to an article in the Evanston Review.

Rosebud Restaurants denied the allegations in a statement that's printed in the article. The EEOC said it has had discussions with the restaurant chain about the issue but was unable to reach an agreement, and therefore filed the lawsuit, according to the Evanston Review.
Rosebud Restaurants owns Rosebud Italian Country House & Pizzeria in Deerfield.
