The Warrior soccer team posted a 2-0 shutout over the Lakes Eagles Tuesday at Adams Field. Deerfield got on the board in the 12th minute when Sydney Barber played a great ball down the left touchline for Emily Kellow, who split two defenders, drove to the goal, and powered a shot past the goalie for a 1-0 lead. The Warriors added a second early in the second half when Melanie Imyak served a ball into the penalty area for Logan Just. Just chipped the ball over the keeper but the ball struck the crossbar and bounced in front of the net where Erin Rosenzweig jammed it into the net. Bailey Bradford made a spectacular diving save with a minute left to preserve the shutout for the Warriors.
