Patty Turner Center to Recognize Richard Faro

On Tuesday morning, September 4, 2012, the Patty Turner Center Men’s Group will pay tribute to Richard Faro, a member of the group and a teacher at Evanston Township High School for more than three decades. Born and raised in Sodus, New York, Faro is a graduate of the State University of New York at Brockport (BSED) and Cornell University (MST).  

Faro joined the faculty of Evanston Township High School in 1967 and during his 33 year career taught Physical Science, Physics, Earth Science, Horticulture, Biology, and Astronomy.  In fact, he taught every science class offered except Chemistry.  Also, Faro was the director of Evanston Township High School planetarium for 22 years... more info
