Pool Rentals available for Mitchell and Deerspring Outdoor Pools in Deerfield

Pool rentals for get-togethers, parties and reunions are available at both Deerfield Park District outdoor swimming pools this summer. Mitchell Pool, at Wilmot and Hazel Road, is available most Saturdays, June 1 through August 11 on Saturdays from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Mitchell Pool is “Z” shaped, ranging in depth from 2-1/2 to 5 feet deep. The diving bay is 12 feet deep. Youngsters will also enjoy our zero depth wading pool.

Deerspring Pool, 200 Deerfield Road, is typically available on Fridays, 7:00-9:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 7:30-9:00 p.m.; and Sundays, 6:00-8:00 p.m. Deerspring Pool is an “L”-shaped, Olympic-size pool that ranges from 3 to 5 feet at its deeper end. The diving bay is 11.6 feet deep, with a 1-meter diving board and a drop slide. Deerspring features include a water slide in the shallow end and a zero-depth wading pool. Both pools have adjacent playgrounds and sand volleyball courts.

 To rent the pool for a private party, call Adam at 847-572-2621. Deerfield Park District residents may begin to rent pool space beginning on May 1. After June 1, nonresidents as well as residents may call for pool reservations. Pool rental fees (for either pool) are as follows: $320 for 1-1/2 hours or $395 for a maximum of 2 hours. No rentals are offered during the Coho Classic Swim Meet weekend of Friday, July 12 – Sunday, July 14.

Our “Sprayground,” at Deerspring Pool offers slides, geysers, water cannons and more and may be added to a rental at Deerspring for an additional $75. A Party rental fee for just the Sprayground is $200 for a basic party and $250 for a deluxe party. Please call for details.

Party Packages during Public Swim are available during the following days and hours: Monday-Friday: 3-4:45 p.m.; Saturday: 2-4 p.m. & 5-7 p.m.; and Sunday: 12-2 p.m. & 3-5 p.m. Rentals include a two-hour reservation of the large tent. Food options may be added; call 847-572-2621 for pricing options. Party host may bring in cake and nonalcoholic beverages. No other outside food is allowed. A $50 refundable deposit is required. Party package cost is $200 for up to 30 people (including chaperones). No season passes accepted.

For parties of more than 100 people, an additional charge of $50 per hour will be added. Please note that by state law, alcoholic beverages are not allowed on the premises
