Open House for Rhythmic Gymnastics at Sachs Recreation Center

Does your child dream of becoming an Olympic competitor? Or, maybe your child just enjoys dance/movement, ballet and gymnastics. Explore the opportunities at a Rhythmic Gymnastics Open House on Saturday, August 31, 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., at Sachs Recreation Center (SRC), in Deerfield, IL. Everyone is welcome. Rhythmic Gymnastics classes, as well as exceptional and comprehensive competitive training classes, are taught at SRC throughout the year, under the guidance of nationally- and internationally-recognized Coaches Natalia Klimouk and Dani Takova.

The Rhythmic Gymnastics facility, housed in Deerfield Park District’s Sachs Recreation Center, is one of the top training sites for the Olympic sport of Rhythmic Gymnastics. The sport combines ballet, gymnastics and dance with the use of balls, hoops, clubs, ropes and ribbons. Whether children and teens are just trying out the class or are accomplished, elite-level competitors, they will thrive under the tutelage of coaches who have earned National Champion titles. Our coaches, as well as some of our rhythmic gymnasts over the past few years, have participated in World Championships, Olympic trials, Pan-American games and more (spanning four continents).

Rhythmic Gymnastics classes at SRC are designed for children 3 years and above and are offered as a Preschool class (ages 3 and 4) and as Beginning and Advanced classes (ages 5-18, grouped by level). Coaches Klimouk and Takova say, “We’d love to meet everyone interested in Rhythmic Gymnastics at our Saturday, August 31 Open House. Come see where National and World champion athletes practice and where they got their start! Meet the athletes and their coaches and learn about fall classes.”
