This past weekend 3 wrestlers competed in the state wrestling tournament at the State Farm Center (formerly Assembly Hall) at the University of Illinois. All three young men represented our school admirably. They competed with the hearts of champions and were respectful whether they won or lost. I am so proud of these young men as well as all their teammates who did not qualify for the state tournament but still helped the team to a 26-1 record and to conference championships on every level. Varsity has won conference for the 6th straight year.

Colton Emmerich became a STATE CHAMPION on the 50th anniversary of our last state champion…Ted Parker in 1964.
