Wrestlers Win CSL Conference Tournament Big! Colton Emmerich Wins Outstanding Wrestler (OW) in North Division

Congrats to the entire Deerfield Wrestling Nation!!!

A week after winning their 6th conference dual team north division title the wrestlers won the CSL Tournament for the 2nd year in a row. The CSL Tournament includes schools from the North division (smaller enrollment schools) and South division (larger enrollment schools). The Warriors placed all 14 wrestlers in the top 5. (Team and tournament results below)

Freshmen Kyle Clough took first place at 106.

Senior Joey Bloom took first place at 113.

Sophomore Andrew Mehrholz took first place at 120. Andrew won it for the 2nd year in a row.

Senior Brian Spinello took 3rd place at 126.

Senior Jeff Spinello took 5th place at 132.

Sophomore Sage Heller took 2nd place at 138.

Junior Brady Glantz took 1st place at 145.

Sophomore Jake Williams took 2nd place at 152.

Senior Jack Powen took 3rd place at 160.

Senior Landen Hinds took 5th place at 170.

Senior Colton Emmerich took first place at 182 and was named the CSL North Outstanding wrestler by the coaches. Colton also was a conference champ last year.

Junior Christo Moran took 2nd place at 195.

Junior TJ Thompson took 5th place at 220 wrestling up 2 weight classes for his team!

Senior David Vanderkloot took 4th place also wrestling up a weight class.
