Video: H.S. Senior Weighs In On District 113 Facility-Technology Plan

Bryce Robertson joins finance study group; encouraged by process.

Highland Park High School senior Bryce Robertson volunteered for one of District 113’s study groups in May. He’s extremely involved at HPHS and wanted to be a part of the facility-technology planning process.

“I think the process has been incredibly transparent,” he said.

Robertson was placed on the Finance Study Group with several other community members and District 113 staff. The senior plans on attending Emory next year and majoring in Finance, which made this particular team a good fit.

Robertson is also the Executive Producer of HPTV, Vice President of the Mock Trial Team, on the Junior Board at the Highland Park Bank & Trust, and he’s a member of the Marketing Board at Ravinia.

“The students know what’s working, what isn’t working, what’s problematic,” District 113 Superintendent Dr. George Fornero commented about the benefits of having Robertson and other students involved. “They see things that I don’t see, they bring up concerns that I may not be aware of.”
