Superintendent George Fornero Posts Measures of Academic Success

I am pleased to share the following Measures of Academic Success. This review of academic performance at Township High School District 113 (Deerfield High School and Highland Park High School) recently was presented to the District 113 Board of Education.

As you can see, we are justifiably proud of our students' performance on a variety of measures. As we have indicated, on several occasions, just one assessment measure doesn't provide an accurate picture of our students' performance. This profile, however, provides a more comprehensive description.

Separately, we are pleased to report that the District 113 post-referendum capital projects are nearing a milestone: decision-making on the design plans for the first phase of the project. We appreciate the input from the numerous voices that have contributed to the plan, including the Oversight Committee, which includes experts from the community, the pre-referendum study groups, and the actual user groups.
