Funeral Arrangements Scheduled for Local Swim Coach
Coho Swim Club mourns loss of coach Kevin McBride.
According to Coho Swim Club’s website Kevin McBride died over Memorial Day weekend after suffering from a heart attack. “We extend our deepest sympathies to his family,” a note on the homepage read.
Kevin started with the program co-sponsored by Highland Park and Deerfield Park Districts as a coach back in 2010. Coho’s website states McBride was an ISI referee and had been officiating swim meets for the past eight years.
Visitation has been scheduled for June 6th from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home in Skokie. The funeral service will be held on June 7th at Skokie Valley Baptist Church in Wilmette.

The Rogers Park native is survived by a wife and three children.
