2nd Annual Blanket Making Event for PADS of Lake County

CRE8 Workshop is again proud to join with other institutions in our community to support PADS Lake County, Inc. a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to providing emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, and comprehensive resources to families with children and individuals   experiencing homelessness in Lake County, IL.   

Last year we made 52 blankets for the shelter at this event.  Many of these blankets have been taken by the homeless to keep them warm when the shelter is not opened. Our help has been requested again.  Pads has told us that the supply is again running low.

 CRE8 Workshop is teaming with the organizing committee for the FPCD Pads site to replenish the supply of fleece blankets for the PADS Shelter. 

We ask for a $18 donation for each blanket you make 

to cover the cost of supplies. 

Stop in sometime between 3:00 and 7:00 PM with your  family and make a blanket. All material and instruction are provided.    Everyone is welcome!
