A Century of Progress: 1933-34 World's Fair in Chicago (NSSC Class)

Chicago hosted a World's Fair in 1933-34 that celebrated worldwide industrial progress as well as its own centennial. This slide lecture will focus on the powerful images and symbols of the fair that sought to amaze and awe visitors from around the globe. Art historian Jeff Mishur presents the program on Friday, March 14 from 10am - 11:30am.  The cost is $10 member; $13 non-member and registration is required.
