CROCtoberfest at the Wildlife Discovery Center

The
Wildlife Discovery Center at Elawa Farm in Lake Forest will be hosting CROCtoberfest, a family-friendly celebration of one of the world’s
most ancient and amazing animal families – the Crocodilians.

Meet
Bubba, the giant American
Alligator, plus crocodiles, caimans and other reptiles. Learn about Crocodiles
in Chicago and the endangered Siamese Croc. There will be kid-friendly
activities, food, and opportunities to talk with the experts from the Chicago
Herpetological Society.

A
$5 donation per person, payable at
the door, is suggested.  Proceeds
from CROCtoberest will help support the high level of care the Wildlife
Discovery Center gives all its animals. 
Additionally, a portion of the day’s proceeds will go towards crocodile
conservation.
