Beth Chaverim celebrated its tenth anniversary in January 2013 and enters its eleventh year. It offers an exciting choice in Jewish congregational life. Beth Chaverim is a Deerfield congregation with members also from Chicago and surrounding suburbs including Buffalo Grove, Lincolnshire, Glenview, Northbrook and Mundelein. Says its founder, Rabbi Jodi Kornfeld of Deerfield, Illinois. "Beth Chaverim is the place for individuals and families to explore their Jewish heritage and traditions, to learn to think critically and independently about religious and theological issues, and to develop meaningful and relevant Jewish identities".
