Gene Kelly was more than a song and dance man; he was also a teacher, choreographer, and director. His immense contributions to American musical theatre include "masculinizing" American dance on film. Among other great performances, his "Singin' in the Rain" song and dance stands out as an all-time favorite moment in American cinema. This two-part presentation by Susan Benjamin intertwines examples of his incredible work ethic with products of that ethic.
