Gypsy at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater on Navy Pier (NSSC Day Trip)

This jewel of the musical theater has been referred to as the greatest American musical ever, and described as Broadway’s own brassy answer to King Lear. The story is loosely based on the memoirs of strip tease, Gypsy Rose Lee, and follows the dreams of Mama Rose as she raises her two daughters. Enjoy one show-stopping song after another, such as "Everything’s Coming Up Roses" and "Let Me Entertain You," among others.  Lunch at Riva’s on Navy Pier. Fee includes lunch, theater ticket and transportation. Departs from our Northfield location.

Wednesday, March 12 from 10:15am - 4:00pm.  Registration is required and the cost is $99 member; $125 non-member.  Call 847/784-6030 or visit the website at www.nssc.org.
