Lenten Retreat

Lenten retreat to help attendees prepare hearts and minds for rededication at Easter

Popular holistic health coach Frances Murchison, founder of Mindfullyfed in Lake Forest, IL, will lead a retreat devoted to spiritual enrichment and fellowship at the First Presbyterian Church of Deerfield on Saturday, March 15. The Lenten program, entitled "We Are All One in Christ," will explore ways to open the heart, mind and body to God's divine presence and to let go of the illusions that distract people from enjoying the abundance of God's embrace.

Murchison trained at New York's Institute for Integrative Nutrition, the world's largest nutrition school, and had a successful career in advertising before turning her attention to wellness and health coaching. She is married to an Episcopal priest, the Rev. Jan Sidebotharr.

The public is invited to attend the program, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. and includes a breakfast buffet. The cost is $20 and advance reservations are encouraged.
