North Shore Yacht Club Open House

The North Shore Yacht Club will host Open Houses on Saturday June 7 and Saturday June 14 from 12-3 PM at Park Ave. Beach in Highland Park.  Sailboats, kayaks and more will be on display and members will be on hand to answer questions about yacht club membership, lessons and social events.  The not-for-profit volunteer run club offers sailing and sea kayaking classes and a whole summer of fun including races, paddling events, parties in the clubhouse onthe beach and more.  Open to residents of all communities.  All courses are taught by experienced US Sailing and ACA Certified instructors.  The eight week sailing course starts June 8 and Introduction to Sea Kayaking is June 21 with capsize checkouts June 8.  Membership is $275 for family sailing, $200 for family kayak only.  Membership includes use of club boats.  $450 sailing lessons include family membership.  Kayak lessons are $50 or $60 per lesson.  To find out more emial nsyachtclub@gmail.com, call 847 432-9800 or visit website www.northshoreyachtclub.com.
