Thomas Paine's Bones (NSSC Class)
Whatever happened to Thomas Paine's bones? Among our Founding Fathers, Thomas Paine had the distinction of being the most disliked at his death, to the point that his bones were taken to England to be buried properly. But, they were lost there. This class is about the legacy of our most radical Founder and will track his influence - and his bones - across the Atlantic and across time. Presented by Joyce Haworth, Historian and Instructor, College of Lake County.
