The figure of 'Messiah' is based in biblical Judaism. Learn about the origins and development of Messiah as person, idea, and vision as developed in Judaism, in Christianity, and in Islam, each in markedly different ways revealing the distinct character of each of these faiths and asking whether there are shared aspects of the Messianic vision.
