Ever wondered what it feels like to drive a racecar? Or wanted to pose like you’re ready for the Indy 500?
You’ll have your chance July 27 at a Turbo Truck Event at Deerfield Tire, featuring a racing simulator you can sit in to capture the thrill of driving a racecar, a real racecar to pose with for pictures, as well as giveaways, popcorn and hotdogs.
The event will take place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 27 at Deerfield Tire, 120 N. Waukegan Road, Deerfield.

Adults can take advantage of a tire sale during the event.
Teenage drivers can sign up for the Bridgestone Teens Drive Smart Driving Experience on Aug. 3-4. This free, half-day workshop uses hands-on training to teach new teenage drivers how to avoid accidents and eliminate distracted driving. The event will be held at Toyota Park, 7000 S.
