American Legion Post 738 will hold its traditional community program to honor those who have fallen in combat during their military service. Ceremonies will take place at 10 am at the Veterans Memorial in Jewett Park (across from the Metra station), followed by a parade to Deerfield Cemetery on Waukegan Road where a reading of the dead dating back to the Civil War will take place, along with a rifle salute by the Legionnaires.
