Shake it Up

Deerfield Park District/Deerfield Park Foundation and Tom and Eddie’s Deerfield have been running a “Shake It Up!” Recipe Contest, in conjunction with “Shake Week,” an event involving all six of the schools in Deerfield District 109. The “Shake It Up!” activity, is being celebrated in honor of Tom and Eddie's One Year Birthday on June 15. The Park District/Park Foundation “Shake It Up!” Recipe Contest Winner will be announced at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6 and will receive the Tom and Eddie’s “Silver Spatula” Award (a free sandwich every week for a year)! Entries have been appearing on the Park District’s website and winners will be posted there as well: www.deerfieldparks.org. Everyone is encouraged to stop in Tom and Eddies, 740 Waukegan Road, in Deerfield, now through Wednesday June 6. 10% of all net proceeds of milkshake sales and 5% of all net proceeds for purchases between 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. during this week will be shared equally by Deerfield Park Foundation and Deerfield Education Foundation.
