St. Gregory's Episcopal Church, at Deerfield and Wilmot Roads, will host a drivers safety course sponsored by the American Association of Retired Persons on Nov. 9-10.

The course is open to all adults and will consist of two sessions from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., both days. Reservations are encouraged but walk-ins will be accepted as well up to a maximum of 35 persons.

The program is designed to update one's driving knowledge such as: Learning defensive-driving skills, compensate for normal age-related physical changes, help reduce traffic violations, accidents, and injuries, and in general help one to drive more safely.

Persons who complete the course are eligible for discounts on their auto insurance. Cost of course is $12 for ARRP members and $14 for non-members. The fee covers both sessions.

In recognition of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, the course will honor individuals by waiving course costs for those currently serving, or veterans and their spouses who have served, in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, National Guard/Reserves or Coast Guard.

For more information or to register for the course, contact: Harold Sterling, AARP Regional Coordinator, at 847-882-8346 or hgsterling@comcast.net.
