Deerfield Student Earns Perfect AP Score

The following information is provided by Township High School District 113. 

JOSEPH LIBERMAN RECEIVES HIGHEST SCORE POSSIBLE ON AP MICROECONOMICS EXAM

Congratulations to Deerfield High School sophomore Joseph Liberman for earning a perfect score on his AP Microeconomics Exam this past spring. 

Advanced Placement Exam scores are reported on a scale of 1 to 5, where a 5 is equivalent to grades of A+ and A in the corresponding college course. Joseph received the top score of 5. Only 14.3 percent of the nearly 4 million AP exams taken in 2013 earned this top score. He was also one of only 33 students in the world to earn every point possible on his exam, answering every multiple-choice question correctly and earning the maximum scores on each of the essays in the free-response section of the exam. 

The College Board’s AP Program characterized his performance as “an extraordinary academic achievement.” 

The Liberman family also expressed a wish to thank Mr. Huff for his outstanding teaching.

Every year, Deerfield High School’s annual student led charity drive, School Chest, unites the Deerfield community in support of a unique philanthropic cause. The Winter Benefit is the biggest fundraiser of school chest, and is a fun night full of amazing food, live entertainment, and great auction items. DEERFIELD DANCE PROGRAM PREPARING SHOW

The Deerfield High School Dance program will be presenting their first semester dance class show on Tuesday, December 17, at 7:30 pm in the Auditorium. This is a great show for the whole family. There will be staff and student choreography in various different styles showcased. The performance is free of charge.
