Memory boards created by each grade, featuring relatives who served or are serving in the US Armed Forces were placed on the “Wall of Heroes”. The assembly was followed by a closing flag ceremony with Fifth grade Holy Cross student, Xavier Harig, playing “TAPS” on his trumpet, as the flag was lowered to half-mast.  The ceremony concluded with everyone singing “America the Beautiful.”
