Halloween Hoopla Arrives Next Week

Park District offers a cavalcade of events for children of all ages. Township offers party for special needs children.

Halloween Hoopla featuring a haunted house—with lights on and off depending on time of day—hayrides and more returns to Deerfield from 7 to 9 p.m. Oct. 25 and from 3 to 9 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Jewett Park Community Center.

Depending on the time of day and your level of fright toleration, the haunted house will have the lights on or off with the scarier times at night. At night there will also be bonfires, movies, deejay entertainment and more.

During the day on Oct. 26, there will also be inflatable rides, balloon twisters, face painters and more. The event is sponsored by the Deerfield Park District and a complete schedule is available on the Park District website.
