Find Fourth of July Fireworks Near Deerfield

Your guide to fireworks displays and events around the region.

Communities all over the Chicago area will offer fireworks in the coming days.

Patch has put together a map detailing where and when fireworks will be offered in communities throughout the north and northwest suburbs. There is also a full list of the fireworks shows listed below.

The white star markers on the map are for fireworks shows on July 4th while the blue markers indicate shows after July 4th and the red markers are for shows before July 4th.

The "details" link on each marker will provide you with more information on the event.

Date: 7/3/13
Time: 9:15 p.m. fireworks
Location: Brickyards Park
Details: Gates open at 5 p.m. Before the fireworks at 9:15 p.m., there will be a photo booth, live entertainment and a silent auction.

Date: 07/04/2013
Time: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: Brickyards Park
Details: On July 4th, there will be parade, dog show, pancake breakfast, 10K race/5K walk, rides, petting zoo, flower show, entertainment and more.

Host: Lake Forest Festival and Fireworks
Date: 7/4/13
Time: 9:40 p.m.
Location: Deerpath Community Park
Admission: $10/residents, $15/non-residents
Details: Fields open at 5 p.m. The opening band, Maggie Speaks, will begin at 6 p.m. Dennis DeYoung: The Music of Styx will take the stage at 8 p.m.

Host: Highland Park Fireworks
Date: 7/4/13
Time: 9 p.m.
Location: Wolters Field
Details: Kids bike and pet parade is at 9:30 a.m. and the Fourth of July parade is at 10 a.m.

Host: Vernon Hills July 4th Events
Date: 7/4/13
Time: 9:30 p.m.
Location: Century Park
Details: A parade will kick off at 9 a.m. at Deerpath and Atrium Drive, just south of Highway 60 and will continue south to Sullivan Drive and then west to Aspen. Live entertainment will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. in Century Park, and the fireworks are set to begin at about 9:30 p.m. over Big Bear and Little Bear lakes.

Location: Paulus Park
Admission: Adult residents, $2; Non-residents, $7; Residents 17 and younger are free
Details: The Independence Day celebration will kick off at 9 a.m. when DJ 39 and Holding will begin spinning tunes. Other fun activities include: Taste of Summer, a beer and wine tent, entertainment, and a boat parade.

Host: Barrington Fourth of July Celebration
Date/Time: 5 to 11:30 p.m. July 3; 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 4; 11 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. July 5 and 6.
Location: North Metra Commuter Lot
Details: Barrington's Fourth of July celebration will be held from July 4 through July 6. The Festival includes entertainment, food and beverages and daytime kid's activities.

Details: The Fourth of July parade will step off at 10 a.m. The 16th Annual Run for the Arts will be held on July 4. Barrington's Fourth of July celebration will be held from July 4 through July 6.

Location: Meadowhill Park
Details: Festivities will start at 7 a.m. with a pancake breakfast. Also on July 4th there will be a 5K Run/Walk, mini-golf tournament, softball game, parade and bike parade.

Host: Skokie Parade and 3-D Fireworks
Date: 7/4/13
Time: Dusk
Location: Nile West High School
Details: The parade will step off at noon and will run from Oakton Community Colllege to Oakton Park. The fun will move to Niles West High School at 5 p.m. where there will be food, drinks and live bands until dusk. The first 10,000 patrons for the 3-D Fireworks Fest will receive a free pair of 3-D glasses.

Host: Morton Grove Days
Date: 7/4/13
Time: 9:45 p.m.
Location: American Legion Memorial Civic Center
Details: A parade will be held at 2:30 p.m. From 5 to 11 p.m., there will be a carnival and food court available. There will be entertainment and beer garden from 6 to 9:45 p.m.

Details: The Brian Patti Big Band will play in a special patriotic program before the fireworks.

Host: Wilmette Independence Day Fireworks
Date: 7/3/13
Time: 9:30 p.m.
Location: Gillson Park
Details: Independence Day festivities and fireworks will take place on Wednesday starting at 4 p.m. There will be plenty of family-friendly entertainment as well as bands later in the evening. The Dooley Brothers will take to the stage post-fireworks. There will be games and rides also available.

Date/Time: Fireworks at dusk July 4 and 7. Festival schedule runs 6 to 11 p.m. July 3; 1 to 11 p.m. July 4 (pancake breakfast/bake sale 7 to 11 a.m.); 6 to 11 p.m. July 5; 1 to 11 p.m. July 6 (car show 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.); 1 to 7 p.m. July 7.

Details: The Lions Club Village Festival will run July 3 through July 7 and will include live entertainment every night. The Taste of Mount Prospect will feature the area's best resturants.

Host: Arlington Park July 4th Fireworks

Time: Dusk
Location: Arlington Park Race Track
Admission: $13-$15
Details: Gates open at 1 p.m. and horse racing starts at 3 p.m. and will continue until nightfall. How Far to Austin, a rock band, will be playing live throughout the day and night. The Robbie Gold Band will perform in the Winner's Circle before the fireworks.

Host: Palatine Hometown Fest
Date/Time: 5 p.m. to midnight July 3; noon to midnight July 4; noon to midnight July 5 (fireworks at 9 p.m./dusk); 9:30 a.m. to midnight July 6 (parade at 9:30 a.m.); 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 7.
Location: Community Park
Details: The Palatine Hometown Fest will run July 3 through July 7. There will be a carnival, entertainment, adult beverages and food and soda avaiable.

Host: Cary Summer Celebration

Admission: Parking is $5-$10
Details: Concert begins at 7:30 p.m. with Spoken Four with a repertoire of songs from the '50s and today's top 40. Fireworks will follow at dusk. Food and beverages will be sold onsite.

Host: Evanston Fourth of July Twilight Concert and Fireworks

Details: A twilight concert put on by the Palatine Concert Band will be held from 7 to 9 p.m.

Host: Winnetka Fourth of July Celebration
Date: 7/4/13
Time: 9:15 p.m.
Location: Duke Childs Field
Details: Fourth of July parade is at 10 a.m. Events on the Green will begin at 11 a.m. with a children's flag parade, family races and a flag-raising ceremony. Fourthfest kicks off at 6 p.m. at Duke Childs Field and will include music, food and children's activities.

Host: Lake Festival Fireworks

Location: Lakeside Legacy Arts Park
Admission: Adults, $5; seniors, $2; kids 12 and under are free
Details: The festival runs July 3 through July 7 and includes a carnival, music, food, a bike parade and events for kids.
