The CDC recently reported that one in 50 children born today is being diagnosed with autism. Ten years ago it was one in 10,000. Almost everyone knows someone with autism.  Last year's Rock 4 Autism, with the help of over 500 participants, rose close to $10,000 for the Northern Illinois Center for Autism. To date, the past four events have raised over $30,000.  The Northern Illinois Center for Autism is a 501c3 nonprofit organization developed by parents and guided by professionals, all of whom are volunteers, serving well over 1,250 people annually.  For more information, visit http://www.nicautism.org/ .
