The Lake Forest Symphony Guild gave a pre-concert tea party on January 24 at Nancy Voorhees' beautiful home in Lake Forest. The music was spectacular with charming anecdotes from Alan Heatherington. Elaine Fohrman's Stradivarius violin gave additional luster to an enchanting afternoon with John Tuck's bass and Elaine Feldman's piano.
The next pre-concert tea is on Wednesday afternoon, March 13. The program will be the winner of the Emilio Del Rosario Piano Competition with notes by Maestro Heatherington on "StormyTchaikovsky", the March concert of the Lake Forest Symphony. All are welcome, if invited and accompanied by a Lake Forest Symphony Guild member.
