Shabbat Shalom - Congregation Ahavat Olam Shabbat Service tonight at 7:30 p.m.

Shabbat Service at Congregation Ahavat Olam TONIGHT at 7:30 p.m. at 600 Deerfield Road. The intimate and spiritual service includes American Sign Language to some of the prayers.

Newly Incorporated Congregation Ahavat Olam, invites you to their monthly Shabbat Service tonight, April 12 at their NEW time of 7:30 p.m. in the parlor room of Christ United Methodist Church, at 600 Deerfield Road in Deerfield.

Many requests were made to move the service to a later time, enabling families and individuals to enjoy a Shabbat dinner before coming to the service, and city workers to have ample time to get to the service on time.

Congregation Ahavat Olam is a Reform Congregation, led by their Spiritual Leader, Cantor Nancy Diamond Landsman. Shabbat services are interactive, musical, and participatory, and are held on the second Friday of each month.

Being a warm, all inclusive community without walls, the congregation's services now include signing to some of the prayers. The service is enhanced by the musical accompaniment of Robert McConnell, in a relaxed and intimate setting.
