U.S. Solar Installations at a High

According to EcoWatch, the U.S. experienced its second-best quarter on record for installations of solar photovoltaic equipment. 930 Megawatts (MW) were installed from July to September. The highest rate of installation was the 4th quarter of 2012.

Solar is the second-largest source of new electricity capacity in the U.S. this year.
