Alma Kisellus, Cook and Traveler, Dies

Former long time Deerfield resident was 85.

Alma M. Kisellus a former Deerfield resident who always put her family first, dies Wednesday. She was 85.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Kisellus loved to cook, travel and entertain. She touched the hearts of all who knew her, according to information provided by Kelly & Spalding.

Kisellus was the beloved wife of the late Leonard; loving mother of Len, Kim and Linda (Tony) Knezovich; cherished grandmother of Nicole (Jimmie) Eloff, Katie Carney and Kristen (Chris) Essen.

A visitation will be held at 11 a.m. Monday until time of funeral service noon Monday at Kelley & Spalding Funeral Home, 1787 Deerfield Rd., Highland Park. Interment will be at Vernon Cemetery, Lincolnshire.
