Peter William Hanes, 85, of Deerfield and Libertyville, passed away May 7, 2014.
Beloved husband of Jane for 63 years; loving father of Jon, Nancy, Chris (Caroline), David (Orquidea) and the late Peter; cherished grandfather of Peter, Denise, Monica, Jonathan, Jeffrey, Christopher, James, Jack, Patrick, Melanie, Camille, Priscilla, David, Kevin, Peter and the late Michael; adored great-grandfather of Jonathan, Milena, Michael, Elijah, Hannah and Madeline; dear brother of Catherine (Stanley) Prostko, the late Gus (Betty) and the late Helen; and treasured uncle to many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 11 am at Christ United Methodist Church, 600 Deerfield Rd., Deerfield, IL. Interment private.
