Deerfield Obituary: Sona Artinyan, 85
Visitation and a prayer service will be held Tuesday. A funeral service and burial will be held Wednesday.
Sona Artinyan, died on Friday, June 20, 2014 in the Whitehall Nursing Center, Deerfield, IL. Sona was born June 14, 1929 in Istanbul, Turkey to Vahram and Meline Bedikyan Ozartun. Sona moved to the United States in 1967.
Sona was preceded in death by her husband Ara Artinyan in 1988. She is survived by her son Haik (Terri) Artinyan; granddaughters Colette (Rick) Cohen and Dana Artinyan; great grandson Ethan Cohen; brother Yetvart (Agavni) Ozartun; niece Anna (Varujan) Kurtjian and a nephew Sevan (Gayle) Ozartun.
