George H. Keats, 77, of Deerfield died Monday.
An accomplished musician, Keats was part of the business world as a 20-year employee of Barnant, a division of Cole Palmer.
He was the beloved husband of Gloria, loving and proud father of Susan (Jesse Taber) Keats, David (Jill) Keats and the late Carolyn Keats. He was also the dear grandfather of Lilah and Alina Taber and Benjamin and Julia Keats.

A graveside service is at 11 a.m. Friday at Shalom Memorial Park, 1700 West Rand Road, Arlington Heights. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer’s Disease Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
