William Spellberg, 82, of Deerfield died today.
He was the beloved husband of the late Susanne and the devoted father of Dr. David (Elisabeth Caplan), Philip (Dianne Leland), and Alan (Audra Kaplan). He was also the loving grandfather of Sean, Jordyn, Leah, Claire, Jack, Joseph, Helen and Nathan.
Spellberg was also the dear brother of Richard (Carole) and Norman and the cherished brother-in-law of Judith and Jerold Fink.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Chicago Jewish Funerals, 8851 Skokie Blvd., in Skokie with burial at Westlawn Cemetery in Norridge.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Council for the Jewish Elderly, 3003 West Touhy Avenue, Chicago 60645 or on line.
