I am 100% in favor of acupuncture and if you are looking for an expert I will recommend Rina Zeid at Northshore Chinese Medicine 847-809-1200. She is not only a great acupuncturist but also fantastic psychologist and healer. I love her.

Her name is Fen, she works here Tuesdays and Fridays from 10-7. The rest of the week she spends on studying Chinese Medicine at school in Wisconsin.
