Letter to the Editor: What’s up With Kevin’s Place?

Student reporter talks to Kevin Quigley

Do you want to know what's up with Kevin from Kevin's Place? Read to find out.

Kevin's place opened 8 years ago. Before he opened a restaurant he worked at the Cherry Pit. The Cherry Pit was replaced with Kevin's Place. He didn't switch locations because he loved the people and the community.

The most popular food on the menu is the Mickey Mouse pancakes and the most popular days are Saturday and Sunday. He has 20 employees. He does lots of charity events. For example he's donated food to food pantries, fund raising, LUNGevity events and much more.

November 24-25 he is doing a program called A Girl, A Guy on a Bench. It is a charity event for food pantry. Anyone can go. Kevin also said that he has to fill the gumball machine and candy jar every day. Kevin isn't only an amazing cook, but he is also a big part of the community.
