Prelims in Women's 3 meter springboard in London!

Today, is prelims for women's 3 meter springboard!

Two Deerfield people I would like to say hello and thank you to!

Deerfield High School Coach Doug Foerch! Coach Foerch coached Christina at DHS and to her Illinois State Record. He is a true coach, and strives to improve, "mind, body and spirit"! Thank you, Doug for being such a mentor for her and for so many other athletes. 

Deerfield resident, Susan Bromberg( co-coach-Donna O'Brien), Christina's club coach, who coached Christina many years at Windy City Diving. Eight years ago, we were in Moultrie, Georgia, sitting in a hotel room at a national meet, and watched the Athens 2004 Opening Ceremonies. Susan said to Christina, "next Olympics, you will be there"! And she was in Beijing and now she is competing in London today! Susan, thank you for your belief!
