Health & Fitness

Well, Now We Know For Sure...

Yup, we had his DNA tested and Miles is, ... ta, da, da, da ...  an American Staffordshire Terrier mix. This poor guy had a very rough beginning as a stray in rural Missouri. He lived in an outdoor animal control facility, and during an ice storm last winter he was rescued (whew!!), and brought to a Placing Paws foster home. He was treated for heartworm, but now he is very hale and hardy (very!), and all ready to find his forever home.

Actually, we thought we had one for him, but his first adoptive parents had an underground fence, and our guy just wasn't having any of that. So here he is available again, and patiently waiting for his special people.

Miles is about 18-months old, gets along well with kids of all shapes and sizes and most dogs, however, all things considered we think that it would be best if Miles is the only dog in his home. And he definitely needs an above-ground fenced yard so he can play fetch with you, and run, run, run. He's such a fun guy!!

Miles is potty trained of course, doesn't mind a crate, however, - BONUS FEATURE -  he has the run of the house in his foster home and he is absolutely trustworthy on all fronts; wonderful!! Also, he loves to go out on walks, and he will make some lucky someone(s) an absolutely super companion.

Miles needs just the right family who will love him, and provide the kind of environment that he needs to allow him to shine. He has everything going for him, all the right stuff, so please contact Placing Paws and give him a chance. You won't be sorry!!

He is waiting for you, really wants a home for the holidays and for now he sends love,

Miles
