Bannockburn Police Blotter: Police Arrest Lake Forest Woman for DUI

The following arrest information was supplied by the Bannockburn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Kathy Walsh, 46, of Lake Forest was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage, according to Bannockburn Police Reports

Police observed Walsh driving east on Half Day Road from just west of the intersection of Waukegan Road to nearly the intersection of Highway 41 in Highland Park, according to the report. During that time, Walsh both drifted within her lane and between lanes while varying speeds and almost hitting curbs.

After stopping Walsh near Highway 41, police noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from both the car and her breath. She failed field sobriety tests and refused to take a breath test. She was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Feb. 13 in Waukegan.
