Bannockburn Police Make 2 DUI Arrests in 1 Week

Danielle Levin, 22, of Buffalo Grove was arrested Sunday for driving under the influence (drugs), unlawful possession of cannabis, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane usage, according to Bannockburn Police reports. Police spotted Levin crossing over the center line of Half Day Road near Telegraph Road and stopped her, detecting a strong odor of cannabis. After a search, what appeared to be cannabis and drug paraphernalia were found. She was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Feb. 26 in Waukegan.
Daniel Connors, 52, of Highland Park was arrested Saturday for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding, according to Bannockburn Police reports. Police clocked Connors driving 59 miles per hour in a 40-mile-per-hour zone on Half Day Road near Lakeside Drive. After stopping him, police noticed a strong odor of alcoholic beverage coming from inside the vehicle. He failed a field sobriety test and tested for a .092 blood alcohol level. He was released on bond and is scheduled to appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Feb. 26 in Waukegan.
