Belligerent Behavior Leads to DUI Arrest

The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

DUI 

Dave Roberts, 21, of Northbrook was arrested Oct. 12 for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to Deerfield Police reports

Police encountered Roberts behind the wheel of a vehicle at a service station in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Waukegan Roads after receiving a call he was “scaring” customers, according to the report. As police were talking to him in the car, they noticed a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath. He failed field sobriety tests and had a blood alcohol of .17. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 9 a.m. Nov. 6 in Waukegan.

Drivers’ License Infractions and More 

Eric Schneider, 44, of Deerfield was arrested Oct. 12 for driving while license revoked, driving with a suspended registration and driving an uninsured motor vehicle, according to Deerfield Police reports. After checking the registration, police stopped Schneider on Jewett Park Drive and learned his license was revoked. Police also found out he was wanted on a warrant for failing to appear in court on a DUI charge in another community. He was released on bond for the Deerfield offenses and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. Nov. 19 in Park City. He was then transported to the Lake County Jail because of the outstanding warrant.

Jon Walley, 54, of Park Ridge was arrested Oct. 13 for driving with a suspended license and driving without insurance, according to Deerfield Police reports. After a random check at Forest Avenue and Deerfield Road, police learned Walley’s license was suspended. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. Nov. 5 in Park City.
