Driver Uses Cell Phone, Gets Arrested

The following arrest information was supplied by the Deerfield Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Driver’s License Infractions 

Martin Perez Valencia, 20, of Highland Park was arrested March 10 for driving without a valid license and driving while using a hand held cellular device, according to Deerfield Police reports. 

Police observed Valencia operating a vehicle in the vicinity of Lake Cook and Deerlake Roads holding a cell phone by his right ear, according to the report. After making the stop, police discovered Valencia had no license. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court at 3 p.m. April 2 in Park City.

Gerson Gluck, 70, of Antioch was arrested March 11 for driving with a suspended license, according to Deerfield Police reports. After making a random check, police suspected Gluck had a suspended license and confirmed it after stopping him. He was released on bond and will appear in Lake County Court April 16 in Park City.
